Xcalibre: Britain's Ultimate Off-Road Tour
XCALIBRE
XCALIBRE is Britain's first televised 7 Stage mountain bike tour.
In teams of two, a combination of pro and amateur riders will take on trails that incorporate elements of the three mountain bike disciplines - marathon, cross country and enduro – testing even the most experienced riders.
XCALIBRE will take place from the 16th-23rd August 2014 visiting Pembrokeshire, the Brecon Beacons, the Bike Park Wales downhill centre, followed by the grand finale on Exmoor in Somerset.
With partners including the National Trust, CTC the National Cycling Charity, Chain Reaction Cycles and SKODA, riders taking part in this unique event can expect an unrivaled experience and support.
XCALIBRE will bring to Britain the two-rider team format made popular by world-famous events such as the Cape Epic and the TransAlp, providing a variety of challenges to up to 500 competing teams, including night time stages, a prologue time trial and a mass start 60-kilometre loop.
So whether you are looking for your next big challenge, or if you are a die hard mountain biker, there is something for everyone at XCALIBRE Britain's Ultimate Off-Road Tour
