Ride gradings

Route Challenge ratings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).


Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).


For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).


These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

NEW DATE - SATURDAY 1 JUNE Starting and finishing in the beautiful City of Norwich, this ride takes you through some perfect cycling country with quiet roads and picturesque villages. And you can test your personal best by choosing a 6, 8 or 10 hour time-band.

From the start in the Cathedral Grounds, both routes first head north to Reepham. The short route then loops back past Blickling Hall while the 100-milers head up to the coast and east to the half-way point at Sheringham, then skirting the Broads before returning to the Finish at the Cathedral.
