Greet the Spring with a choice of 4 great routes (17 mile family route, 33, 42 and a more challenging 54 mile route) on the 3rd year of this lovely ride through the beautiful Dorset countryside and along the famous 'Jurassic Coast' to raise money for the Lewis-Manning Hospice. Starting in Poole Park, the routes take you around one of the largest natural harbours in the world, before heading out into the lush countryside of the Isle of Purbeck.

The challenge route (54 miles) then heads west to sweep down through Lulworth rejoining the long route at Corfe Castle. The long route (42 miles) climbs up to Worth Matravers with stunning views of Corfe Castle en route at Kingston, before heading down the coast to Swanage and back to Poole via the Ferry at Studland Bay. The medium route (33 miles) follows the long route to Corfe Castle where the two routes part ways as the medium riders cut across to Studland where it rejoins all the the other routes. The short route riders cycle to Studland and back crossing the water by ferry twice. The 54, 42 mile and 17 mile routes are all on road. The 33 mile route includes approx. 2 miles on unmetalled Sustrans cyclepath, some of which has a loose gravel surface.

For those of you who are bringing family down to see you off / greet you on your return, you may like to know that that from 10am-11am Bournemouth University will be down by the water in the West Field opening a moth trap and explaining what they found the day before during their BioBlitz event click here for more information.
