A big well done to everyone who took part in the Cambridge to Norwich bike ride to raise money for the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital Radiotherapy Appeal.

A new ride in 2011, very popular again in 2012 and now back for a third time in 2013! Starting at Coldham's Common in Cambridge the route heads east through an autumnal landscape of fenland, patchwork fields and even a few hills! The finish is at Earlham Park in Norwich - with sports massage, beer tent, great food and live music.

|Getting There: Car||From M11 Junc 14 follow A14 to Junc 35, turning right on to A1303 (Newmarket Rd.) and follow signs to the Start.
Parking at Coldham's Common is £3 all day - book online when you register or pay on the day. (Buy in advance to avoid queues on the day!). Please retrieve your car by 7.30pm otherwise it may be locked in. (car park will remain open for the last Bike Events transport back from Norwich).
Parking at the finish - car park on University Drive (follow Bike Events signs) operated by taking a token at the barrier and making payment at the Pay on Foot machine before you leave. £1 flat fee for the day. Lost tokens are charged at £12.

PLEASE NOTE: Greater Anglia Trains has issued the following statement about the carriage of bikes on trains between Norwich and Cambridge on the 29th of September:
"Greater Anglia is informing customers that they are unable to guarantee sufficient space to convey cycles on Greater Anglia services to and from this event.
As publicised in the advice for cyclists on the Cycling section of our website, trains only have limited accommodation for cycles and in the interests of safety and in maintaining punctual and reliable services, we are grateful to our customers for their cooperation in adhering to the guidelines that apply for the conveyance of cycles on trains, and in following the travel advice for this event as outlined above."

|Other Info||COACH TRANSPORT - coaches with accompanying trucks run in the morning to take riders/bikes from Norwich to the start. Meet in bus turnaround area where University Drive joins Earlham Road (B1108) at 06:00 to load bikes - full details in rider pack sent on registration. Afternoon transport at approximately 3pm & 5.30pm to take cyclists/bikes back to Cambridge (Coldham's Common only).
Advance booking recommended as spaces cannot be guaranteed on the day - tickets cost £25 for you and your bike. NB transport tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE
MINIMUM AGE 16 YRS. All riders under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult over 18 years.
All riders are required to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.
