A choice of two exciting routes, both starting and finishing in the historic market town of Devizes.

Both set off east through the Vale of Pewsey, the scenic 45 mile route heads on through Savernake Forest to the historic market town of Marlborough. Finishing off with a climb over the ridgeway and back into the Vale of Pewsey to the Finish. The 12 mile family route stays within the Vale with a stop at All Cannings for a spot of lunch.

Cyclists under 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult over 18..

All riders are required to wear a helmet. A selection of helmets will be available for purchase on the day.

Ride Gradings

Suitable for anyone who enjoys a reasonably active life. The pace is gentle and the terrain flat to undulating. Distances no more than 30 miles (50km).

Suitable for those with slightly more cycling experience. the terrain can be a little hillier than grade 1.5 and distances up to 45 miles (70km).

For the regular and reasonably fit cyclist. The terrain may include some challenging hills and distances up to 75 miles (110km).

These routes require a good level of fitness and stamina and feature challenging inclines and/or a longer time in the saddle. Distances can be up to 100 miles (160km).

From M4 Junction 17 follow A350 (signed Chippenham), at 4th roundabout follow Calne (A4) through Chippenham, then A342 to Devizes. Parking available for free all day at
Station Road Surface Car Park

Getting here by train

The nearest train station is Trowbridge (11 miles from Devizes).
